Fall Events in Kelowna — Harvest, Wine and Thanksgiving

Fall is harvest season in the Okanagan, and the event calendar follows it. The listings above are filtered for the season — harvest dinners and tastings, fall fairs and festivals, farm and corn-maze events, Oktoberfest nights, and Thanksgiving meals — and fall back to Kelowna's regular events if nothing seasonal is listed yet.

Harvest and wine

September and October are the busiest months at Okanagan wineries, with harvest dinners, winemaker tastings and special releases. The valley's wine festivals also run in the fall. See Kelowna wine events and the valley-wide Okanagan wine guide.

Thanksgiving and food

Canadian Thanksgiving falls in the second week of October, and restaurants and wineries host special dinners that weekend; book early. The Saturday farmers market continues into October — see Kelowna farmers markets.

Outdoors and fall colour

Cooler weather makes October a good month for the Okanagan Rail Trail and hikes such as Knox Mountain, and fall colour peaks in the valley's parks and vineyards.

What comes next

Late October turns to Halloween events, and by mid-November the calendar fills with craft fairs and Christmas events. Browse all Kelowna events any time.
