Osoyoos has some of the warmest vineyard land in Canada, and its wineries are known for bold reds and for Rhône-style and Italian varieties. Well-known names include Nk'Mip Cellars — North America's first Indigenous-owned winery — Moon Curser, LaStella and Adega on 45th.
The wineries sit on the east and west benches above Osoyoos Lake, so plan to drive or arrange a tour. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons, while summer is hot and busy. Check opening hours before you go, as many wineries reduce hours in winter, and book ahead for dinners.
Look for tastings, patio evenings and seasonal wine festivals. See Osoyoos events, things to do in Osoyoos, and the neighbouring Oliver wineries.
